How does GT ALARM real-time GPS tracking work?
GT ALARM lets you monitor your vehicle’s location directly from the app, with continuous GPS updates while you’re on the move. You can view trip history, distance travelled, stops and parking events, as well as access detailed journey reports.
What is Geofencing and how does it work?
Geofencing lets you create a virtual boundary around any location of your choice. Whenever your vehicle enters or leaves the designated area, you’ll receive an instant notification through the app. It’s an ideal feature for fleet management, vehicle security and monitoring young or newly licensed drivers.
Can I remotely disable my vehicle’s engine?
Yes. If your subscription includes the Remote Engine Immobilisation feature, you can enable or disable the engine immobiliser directly from the GT ALARM app, providing an additional layer of protection against theft and unauthorised use.
What happens if someone disconnects the device or uses a signal jammer?
GT ALARM detects both power cable tampering and GSM signal jamming attempts (Anti-Jammer). If either event is detected, the system immediately triggers an alert and sends a notification to your smartphone, allowing you to take prompt action.
What’s the difference between the GT ALARM service plans?
All GT ALARM plans include core features such as GPS tracking, geofencing, alert management and Parking Protection.
